Box Toppers of LAS Family Links

Bushnell, Alto, Cherry Creek and Murray Lake Elementary Schools have launched the 2009-2010 Label Collection Campaign. We are collecting Box Tops for Education, Campbell’s UPC’s, and Tyson Chicken Labels to earn cash and prizes for the schools.

Box Tops and Tyson labels earn cash from each submitted label. This year's Box Tops and Tyson proceeds will be used to expand and update the computerized Accelerated Reader (AR) program. The AR program assesses students’ reading with different types of quizzes and is important to students’ individual reading progress and growth. Many students benefit from the AR program each year in Lowell.

Campbell’s Labels for Education earn points that our schools use to order school supplies. Here's a small sample from this year's merchandise catalog. Campbell's program is geared to support Arts, Athletics and Academics.

How to collect
Clip a label or UPC from eligible products. (see samples here)
Send labels and UPC's to school with your child or drop in a local collection box. (drop locations)

It's not just soup anymore! Many other products are on our list.
Campbell's soup labels are the most recognizable. But many other brands are also eligible for the Labels for Education (UPC) collection such as Spaghetti O's, Chunky Soup, Swanson, V8, Prego and Pepperidge Farms.
Box Tops list includes items such as Cheerios and other General Mills cereals, Hamburger Helper, Betty Crocker, Nature Valley, Kleenex and more.
Tyson Chicken Labels includes popular ready-to-eat products.

Your child can help!
Printable collection sheets make label collection fun. Kids love to find eligible labels in the store too. Your child can attach boxtops/labels on a sheet and submit them to school. They can color this month's featured sheet or create a collection box. Your child's name will be entered for a prize when they submit a full sheet of labels.

What do our schools get?
Box Tops label - each one is worth 10¢ for your school. (A sheet of 10 box tops = $1.00!)
Tyson label - each one is worth 24¢ for your school.
Campbell's UPC codes - add up to LFE points that your school can redeem for educational merchandise.

For every 10 boxtops/labels sent in, your child is entered into a drawing for prizes! Your teachers also compete with each other!
